About the Author

Rhythm Rascal was designed and written by me, Randy Brown.  It is my hobby project.  I also develop software professionally full time.  I write software systems for student loan servicing.  I have been working on Rhythm Rascal since 2003, after being dissatisfied with the features of most drum sequencer applications, particularly in regard to heavy metal music.  My goal with this product is to provide a powerful, but easy-to-use drum machine for guitarists writing and performing complex music styles.

I live in Corryton, TN, just outside of Knoxville, with my wife and two children.  I have played guitar in several local bands in the past.  You can find more about me, my music, and my family here.
